  PAINTING 1912-1913 РУ DE EN

Few of Puni's paintings before 1914 have survived. Among them are a soft realistic study of an interior in Kuokkala (1910), two Cézannist landscapes with a house (ca. 1912, probably also in Kuokkala), a pointed Fauvist landscape "Walking in the Sun" (1912-1913) and a Self-Portrait (1912-1913). Both landscapes came to museums from the Costakis collection, while the path of the other two early works to the West is unclear.
